The Full Story

Veterans Therapy

I am honored to work with veterans who have served our country and now face the lasting psychological impact of that service. Many veterans experience trauma-related symptoms, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, emotional numbness, and difficulties adjusting to civilian life. These challenges are real, complex, and deserving of specialized, respectful care.

My approach to treating veterans is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy that prioritizes safety, trust, and collaboration. I understand that military culture, repeated exposure to high-stress environments, and experiences of loss or moral injury can significantly affect mental health long after service has ended. Treatment focuses on helping veterans regain emotional stability, improve daily functioning, and develop effective coping strategies while honoring their lived experiences.

Therapy is provided in a nonjudgmental, confidential space where veterans can process trauma at their own pace. The goal is not only symptom reduction, but also restoring a sense of control, purpose, and quality of life.

Vision  For Treating Veterans

My vision in treating veterans is to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care that honors their service while addressing the lasting psychological impact of military experiences. I strive to create a safe, respectful therapeutic space where veterans feel understood, supported, and empowered to heal at their own pace.

I believe veterans deserve care that recognizes the complexity of trauma, moral injury, and the transition to civilian life. Treatment is grounded in evidence-based practices and focused on restoring emotional stability, resilience, and a sense of purpose. My goal is to help veterans move beyond survival toward meaningful engagement in their lives, relationships, and communities.

Healing is not about erasing the past, but about strengthening the ability to live fully in the present. My vision is to support veterans in reclaiming control, dignity, and hope as they navigate their path forward
